While we prepare our hearts during Lent for the promise of Easter we should prepare our worship space and social gathering space also. As good stewards of St. Teresa we should take pride in how wonderful our facility looks on Easter and throughout the year.
The Parish Center deserves a thorough cleaning to go along with the beautiful new flooring, and the church needs to be prepared for the Easter celebration.
We need the support of some young (and young-at-heart) parishioners to join a cleaning party on Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. All of the cleaning supplies will be provided along with, refreshments and snacks.
If you can only work for one hour—that’s OK. Two hours is better, and three would be great. You do not have to sign up—JUST SHOW UP. We can accomplish our goal to finish by 2:00 pm if we have 20 dedicated people working early.
Everyone is invited to the Vigil Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord later that evening at 8:00 pm, followed by a hospitality reception in the newly cleaned Parish Center.
