On December 25th, 2015, St. Teresa of Avila hosted our annual Christmas Dinner for the Hungry. Volunteers prepared and served a loving Christmas meal for 125 individuals. Santa distributed presents and gift cards. Volunteers and guests dined together and shared Christmas cheer with each other. A fellow parishioner and volunteer, Christine Murray, wrote this story telling of her experience while visiting with a guest. She writes to share her story and to encourage us to think more about justice versus charity and hopefully begin a dialogue on how we truly serve those in need.
